A visit to the Virginia wine club is something extremely special. This is not one of the run of the mill places. Located just thirty minutes away from Washington DC this is the Winery at Bull Run where some of the finest wine events in Virginia are held. These are wine tasting events where you will get to taste some of the best award winning Virginia wines, both white and red. The winery is open for wine tasting from 11am till 7pm daily and the closure is delayed till 8pm on Thursdays and till 9pm on Fridays. For additional enjoyment there is live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Virginia wine club at the winery is located in idyllic surroundings. While the working winery is on 21 acres of land, right next to it, is the historic Manassas National Battlefield Park on 5000 acres of strikingly beautiful verdant countryside. During the popular wine events in Virginia you will be given a presentation on the way wine used to be made during the Civil War era. You will also get to see some well-maintained old buildings and artifacts going back to the 19th century.
