The most impressive thing about the Virginia Wine Club is its 1860s historical setting in a scenic countryside adjacent to the charming Stone Bridge crossing Bull Run near the entrance of the Manassas National Battlefield Park. The popular wine events of Virginia are held in the 21 acres adjacent to this park and it is quite usual for Civil War re-enactors to join for the wine-tasting event. There is an old smokehouse where you get to see countless artifacts from the Civil War in the small Civil War museum with relics excavated from the property as well as nearby sites.
