Wine Tasting Day near Washington DC

One of the finest ways of spending a weekend is to take a trip to a winery near Washington DC. This Winery at Bull Run is located next to the charming Stone Bridge at the eastern entrance of the Manassas National Battlefield Park. The bridge is a reconstruct of the original one that was destroyed on 21 July 1861, the first major land battle of the American Civil War. At this Winery adjoining 5000 acres of the historic countryside you can participate in wine tasting less than 30 min from DC.

The beautiful winery located close to Washington DC 2 miles off Route 66 is in an authentic 1860s setting where you will taste award winning wines every day till late in the evening with live music to regale you during Fridays and Saturdays. At the Winery during the course of the wine tasting session near DC, you will be presented living history demonstrations to show you how wine was made during the 1800s. You can also see countless Civil War artifacts that were extracted and preserved in a small Civil War museum.
